Sintra's "Big Beach"
Neighboring Adraga, this "grand beach" offers a number of inexpensive restaurants and bars, and often hosts surfing competitions.
You'll find an Olympic-sized pool facing the sea that is open from June to September, and a smaller beach nearby named "Praia Pequena."
Less family-oriented than Praia das Maçãs nearby,
it attracts a younger and sportier crowd.
