A former contemporary art gallery not far from Avenida da Liberdade is since a couple of weeks ago, a sophisticated new restaurant. The refinement is in the elegant simplicity of the décor and in the kitchen, presenting an internationalized Portuguese-inspired cuisine with the personal touches of the chefs.
Despite their young age, those are two experienced chefs, with one having worked in New York’s famous Per Se and Pure Food and Wine, and the other in Lisbon’s Michelin-starred Eleven and Barcelona’s Moo.
At the bar there’s a good cocktail list concocted by the master of the Cingo Lounge cocktail bar.
The wine list is of mostly Portuguese labels mixed with a few foreign selections.
There are simpler and lower-priced menus for lunch (served only on weekdays), and the choice of à la carte service or a tasting menu for dinner. That tasting menu consists of six dishes at the quite reasonable price of 36 euros without drinks.
From the creativity of the food to the effort in providing a quality service and ambience, this one promises to become one of Lisbon’s hottest tables.
It’s closed on Sundays.
