My wife and I stayed at the Sana Malhoa Hotel, which is just up the road
from Green Pepper. There aren't that many restaurants within a comfortable
walking distance of the hotel, and this was a real find. The food was
really good. Freshly cooked and plenty of variety. Such a nice change
from hotel food. I can't speak too highly of the staff (particularly the
young ladies from Brazil and Nepal), who were extremely friendly and
anxious to please.

We stayed nearby at Hotel Corinthia and this was a really good find. Cheap,
tasty, clean, with friendly staff. Recommended.

What an excellent find! I was staying down the street at Hotel Corinthia.
As it is the business district, there wasn't much in the way of restaurants
in the area, but we stumbled upon Green Pepper by accident. I am a
vegetarian. The salads and entrees in the buffet were all very fresh and
creatively flavorful. And it was so cheap - 6.75 euros! I wish badly that
we had something so reasonable and amazing in Los Angeles. I would
certainly recommend this place - even my carnivorous companions loved it.
We tried to go back on Sunday, but it was closed.

Stayed nearby at the Hotel Mercure. I'm not a vegetarian but was travelling
with a colleague who is. This restaurant was so good we went twice in our 4
day stay. Gorgeous fresh food, great variety of dishes including 5 hot
meals as well as cold salads, rice, lentils and so on, serve yourself from
the heated buffet bar. Very tasty indeed, I certainly didn't miss meat from
the menu (though cheese would have been nice!), staff were friendly and
helpful, modern decor, busy both evenings. Highly recommended.
