Booking your Lisbon hotel: Where to Stay

Hotel, Lisbon

As in any major city, there is a variety of accommodation to choose from in Lisbon, from basic hostels or guesthouses, to mid-range hotels, to sumptuous palaces, and you can be sure to find one within your budget.
Although prices have risen, they're still lower than in other major European capitals, and booking online in advance gives you the best deals.

Authorities are strict, so even budget accommodation is clean and reliable. Breakfast is usually included in the price, with most serving a continental breakfast, and in the case of upmarket hotels, a buffet.
