Rua do Alecrim, 95, Chiado
This factory and shop has been producing and selling handmade decorative tiles since 1741, and still offers copies of 17th- and 18th-century items. Its artisans are among the finest in Europe, creating handmade designs, many of which have been in use since the Middle Ages. It has a shop in Chiado, just a few feet from Camões Square, but the factory can also be visited (it also has a shop) in Belém (Calçada da Boa Hora, 94B).
