A phenomenal personal decorative arts collection

Anastacio 
Gonçalves Museum Dr. Anastacio Gonçalves was a renowned ophthalmologist and a friend of Calouste Gulbenkian, who shared his profound appreciation of the arts. His phenomenal yet underrated collection is housed in an architectural prize-winning art nouveau building that once belonged to Portuguese artist Jose Malhoa and includes a mesmerizing collection of Chinese porcelain.

There are pieces from the Ming and Qing dynasties as well as 19th century furniture and naturalist paintings.
