VIDEO #2: Christmas in Lisbon

Every November, Lisbon begins to smell of chestnuts roasting, lights forming stars and bells decorate the streets, and Europe's tallest Christmas tree stands in Comercio Square (or at least it did in 2005 and 2006). Yes, Lisbon invites everyone to visit it during the Holidays, shop around, and enjoy its mild winter.

For a preview of what you'll find if you visit Lisbon for the holidays, we offer the video below. Completely shot at night downtown and in Chiado, it shows the lit-up castle overlooking the city, the streets glittering in Christmas lights, and the gigantic tree where everyone stops to take a photo or two -- it's located in the same square where one of the major New Year's Eve celebrations and fireworks show takes place.
