Although usually crowded by tourists and young locals in the summer, this beach can still be very relaxing.
It's overlooked by a castle previously owned by the royal family of Monaco, and has a number of bars, many of which stay open during the summer nights.
Trains depart from Lisbon's Cais do Sodre station every twenty minutes to Cascais,
stopping right by Tamariz at the Estoril
station thirty minutes later.
You can walk to this beach if you stay at one of these Estoril hotels.
